Listed below are the services we provide as part of our full project management service:

  • Initial conception and project appraisal with clients
  • Carry out feasibility of client requirements and advice on costings
  • Initial site inspecitons
  • Full architectural drawing service
  • Advice on relevant Local Authority requirements including: Town Planning, Building Regulation, Conservation Areas & Listed Building Consent
  • Local authority outline & detailed submissions
  • Negotiations with local authority
  • Preparation of full written specification of works
  • Preparation of tender documents and carrying out tender process
  • Analysis of tenders and priced specifications
  • Preparation of JCT Minor or Major works contracts
  • Full contract supervision including weekly site visits
  • Settlement of contractors accounts
  • Final inspections including any making good defects.

Insurance Contracts
We specialise in the restoration and repair of damaged buildings through such means as fire damage, flood damage etc. For contracts such as this we provide a complete service including all of the services listed above in Project Management. We also provide such additional services as negotiations with Loss Adjustor/Assessor where necessary, negotiations with insurance brokers and together with them providing advice to clients on insurance policies and the possible implications.

Building Contract Supervision
We undertake contracts large and small from inception, through the planning stages and the contract to completion. We are also able to provide specific services for clients who do not require the full project management service. We are able to provide Building Contract Supervision which focuses solely on the supervision of the construction process, excluding all pre-contract works, which we are therefore able to offer at a more competitive rate.

Building Conservation
Up to the summer of 2006 Brian Miles was Conservation Officer for Sussex Heritage Trust and that Trust covered conservation properties in Sussex. Brian Miles has extensive experience in dealing with Listed Buildings in both Surveying and Project Management roles. We now give advice and undertake projects for private clients.
